        Border Glen Anticipated the start and unseated rider last time; previously he had put in some consistent efforts including winning over course and distance in January; should go well although on a fairly high mark for him.

        Rude Awakening Disappointed last two outings after winning well at Southwell in January; won this race last year but is weighted up to his best today; place opportunities.

        Charge Won a muddling race here last time; this is a tougher test and he will probably struggle with today's extra weight.

        Double M Probably better over 5f; has shown improved form in recent outings but doesn't look good enough to win here today.

        Damasquiner Can be inconsistent; ran a nice race last time over 7f and is one for the shortlist off her current handicap mark.

        Celtic Venture Has run some fair races over today's course and distance; needs to improve to take a hand in the finish today

        Prime Music Has been finishing nearer last than first in recent runs and no reason to suggest things will be any different today,

        Anstand Not shown any decent worthwhile form since 1998 including over hurdles and at a variety of trips; of little interest today.

        Fastrack Time Still a maiden and no real chance today.

        Chakra Finished well behind on reappearance in December; been off since and best avoided until proving he is back to the form that saw him win over course and distance here last year.

        Shady Deal Just one victory from a lot of starts; probably better over 5f these days.

        The Dark Lady Has beaten only two home in four starts to date; definitely not a dark horse.

        Clopton Green Tough and consistent; deserves to win a race like this and is off a handy mark at present; good chance today.
