Verdict

A poor race in which Missie Baileys is tried at the expense of Treetops Hotel and Irish Ballad. Missie Baileys has been tried over two miles in past and while that experiment had mixed success, she looks better over today's trip and at the likely odds, we are prepared to give Linda Mongan's charge the verdict. Treetops Hotel is in fantastic form and has took his last two races on the spin. Brett Johnson has booked a claimer to take off some of the extra weight so it will be interesting to see how the market responds. Irish Ballad won over 1m6f at Wolverhampton after connections had took their chances over further. The jury is out over a further drop in trip. Lolla's Spirit may have finished closer to Treetops Hotel on their last meeting if given a much more positive ride and Andrew Elliott replaces the previous rider. The Iron Giant started his days with Aidan O'Brien although a record of 0 from 15 for the sometime hurdler is off-putting. Mister Completely has yet to sparkle for new connections while Maximix has an intresting jockey booking. Missie Baileys will be a price and we are prepared to take on the likely favourites.
