BEAT THE BELL has the best recent form. A winner at Goodwood in May, he ran into a place in a handicap at Yarmouth last time and a similar effort would be good enough to land this. Crown Dependency comes out best at the weights but arrives out of sorts and Mother Jones makes more appeal as she's been in better form over the minimum trip recently but has won over 6f before. Ansells Pride finished runner-up over C&D last month but along with Toms River Tess has plenty to find at the weights.
