Verdict

Smarter Charter, Stagecoach Ruby and Maeveen are three against the field in another desperate affair with the confident vote going to Smarter Charter. The selection is taking a big drop in class and need only reproduce the effort that saw him finish fourth behind Cosmic Case last time out to score. He has conditions to suit and is impossible to oppose. Stagecoach Ruby rates the main danger on her latest fifth behind Savernake Brave but she has never won over this trip so can not be backed with any confidence. Maeveen is another worthy of respect on his best Irish form but he has shown virtually nothing of late although the drop in trip may help. Sammagefromtenesse is another that could go well as he was doing all his best work at the finish over a mile last time and is sure to be suited by the step up in trip but for the winner we return to Smarter Charter.
