Verdict

NUBAR BOY is the recommendation in the finale with Duellist and Dream On Buddy worthy of respect. The former Irish horse has really grasped the idea of all-weather racing since joining Tom Dascombe and won a maiden in decent style. Granted, he has been turned over in a handicap off a 2lb higher mark though its worth noting that the maiden success has been given a significant boost earlier in the week. Duellist won at odds-on in a Wolverhampton maiden. He ran too badly to be true at Kempton and it is to be hoped that he can return to the winning thread. Dream On Buddy won on debut. The confidence in the market suggested it not to be an unexpected occurance and the handicapper goes with a mark of 63 in his attempt to get a handle. Al Khimiya has been a regular winner during the winter though attempts to take this prize following a couple of months away. Dance For Julie exhibited some fair turf form last season and has to be respected from the Ben Haslam yard. Green Earth ran a very respectable reappearance at Kempton and should now be spot on for that effort. Slasl has gone up 1lb for his recent labours and if Chris Catlin is able to do the weight, a note must be made of the position in the market. Nubar Boy has no easy task off top weight but he looks capable of going in off today's revised handicap mark.
