The well-bred Empress Olga will not have to be anything special to get off the mark at the first time of asking, while Veenwouden and Chervil are others that can be expected to go close. Chervil made a satisfactory debut at Warwick last month and can be expected to have learned a great deal from the experience. Ryan Moor is obviously an eye-catching jockey booking for Amanda Perrett's charge and a bold bid is anticipated. Veenwouden represents a yard that have done very well with similar types over the years and a market move for this daughter of Desert Prince looks one to keep on the right side as she develops. Another couple of furlongs will suit her in time and she is very much a long-term prospect. The same can be said of Empress Olga, who looks to have a very bright future ahead of her. She makes her debut at a modest level today and, considering she is a sister to the top-class Russian Rhythm; who wasted no time in showing her own credentials on the racecourse; Empress Olga will only need to have inherited a fraction of her siblings abilities to score at this level.
