      Verdict

The best race of the day can go to he improving Fajr, with Vortex, Red Spell and Happy As Larry heading a lengthy shortlist. The selection is Gaye Kelleway's new stable star and looks to be continually improving. He has won all five of his starts here, and although he incurs a 5lb rise for his latest cosy victory, he could be up to defying it. Voretex has the beating of Red Spell on the last two runs that they have clashed, however a turnaround in the weights could see Red Spell gain the upperhand in that battle, and he must certainly has major claims today. Happy As Larry was fifth last time out, however he was only beaten a length that day and must rate a danger today. He was given too much to do a week ago, however with Chris Catlin on board today he can go very close if racing a bit closer to the pace and he still looks progressive. Wavertree Warrior looks to be on a stiff enough mark, whilst the same cna be said for Kindlelight Debut. Therefore we will return to Fajr to maintain his unbeaten course record.
