In depth

Verdict

BLUE ZEPHYR is our pick with Mrs Boss and Freddie's Gift sought as alternatives. The selection has only had one start in his career and has been absent since. As with any Willie Muir runner, the market has to be noted closely but this maiden seems chock full of mediocrity and our vote has to go somewhere. Mrs Boss is best in on official figures. Her run in a handicap at Wolverhampton has to go down as a disappointment. Freddie's Girl has ordinarily raced prominent so the switch down in trip should not be an issue. Maxijack appeared to enjoy the switch to prominent tactics while Papageno has regressed. Blue Zephyr has least black marks on the racecourse and achieves our selection.
