Important Message failed to land the odds at Bath a fortnight ago but was not beaten far and Libbard also went close when runner-up at Goodwood last time. Both should have a say in this but PURE LINE is preferred. The latter has improved with every start and this longer trip should bring further progress after a close-up third over 1m2f at Ascot. The Stoute yard won both divisions of this in 2012 so Mashkoor Approach is worth noting and Fern Owl is another to consider on his earlier debut effort at Windsor.
