Verdict

Royal Vacation, three times a winner over timber, hasn't quite hit the heights over fences despite his two second place finishes but needs a test of stamina which he should get here. Delgany Demon broke a blood vessel when last seen at Uttoxeter in May so testing conditions don't look suitable. Take A Bow's three victories to date have all been on good ground but Cloudy Copper's three career victories have come on soft going, including at Ffos Las in April over this sort of trip. He only got as far as halfway at Fontwell on his return but still looks on a fair mark. Oliver Sherwood brings out MINELLA ON LINE (NAP) under a penalty after last week's very easy victory at Plumpton where he defied several mistakes. He still looks well handicapped, despite the extra, and should complete a quick double. Kap Jazz ran so badly when last seen at Exeter in March that something was probably amiss.
