    Verdict

Private Seal has shown enough lately to be considered as the likely answer here, with Little Richard, Boom Or Bust, First Class Lady and Adjiram others to enter the equation. This is another uninspiring affair but something has to win it, and Private Seal is put forward as the suggestion. Julian Poulton's nine-year-old has been hard to win with since his last success here over a mile three years ago. With those credentials, he is certainly no good thing, but there was a lot to like about his effort in finishing a close third to Theatre Lady over a mile and a quarter here three weeks ago. If that was no fluke, then he should be more at home over today's trip and could be the answer. Boom Or Bust certainly looks held on that form, having finished down the field. Little Richard gave trainer Mark Wellings his first winner when landing a very moderate event over two miles last week and he may struggle to give weight away this time over the shorter trip. First Class Lady has the assistance of Lisa Jones, which is no bad thing, but a bigger threat may turn out to be Adjiram who was sent off as favourite when only third to Kingsdon over the course and distance last week. That was his first outing since running over hurdles at Wincanton on Boxing Day though, and he will strip fitter now. For the selection, and a tentative one at that, we return to Private Seal.
