In depth

Verdict

A fascinating bumper to end the card and we will side with the Heather Dalton trained Brinkmanship, Alfie Flits and Dr Flight are two newcomers to keep an eye on. The selection put in a solid first effort when chasing home Sword Of Damascus. That winner has been successful under a penalty and so the form looks rock solid and this son of Red Ransom looks the one to be on. Alfie Flits is from a yard that does well in this type of event and this well bred gelding should be watched closely in the betting market. The same applies to the Hughie Morrison trained Dr Flight, a son of Dr Fong who will have been well prepared by his talented trainer. Graphex is another to keep on the right side, but there is nothing wrong with the form of Brinkmanship and this one gets the nod.
