In depth

Verdict

Hazaz has the best single piece of form on offer with his third in the Horris Hill at Newbury last year giving him solid claims in this. However, FORGOTTEN HERO is less exposed and made a promising debut at Newmarket in October when third to stablemate Ellaal. A couple of winners have come out of the race and Charlie Hills' colt is likely to have improved in the interim. Valley Of Destiny has a winning half-brother and is worth a second glance on his debut, but David Elsworth's duo of Salford Prince and Norse Song have plenty of catching up to do to match the principals.
