Verdict

AFTER THE STORM just failed to catch the winner in what looked a tougher maiden race over track and trip earlier in the month. He's likely to prove a popular choice with Frankie getting the leg-up and can open his account. Against The Tide steps up in distance having managed only fourth over a mile here on her debut. She's a half-sister to recent course and distance winner Castilo Del Diablo and makes more appeal than Gentlemax while Ceevee and Midnight Chorister have their first outings on the Flat having competed without success in bumpers so far.
