    Verdict

Flying Bear will do well to figure on his reappearance under today’s heavy burden but DIAMOND CHARLIE looks to have every chance. Beaten a length in a Class 4 sprint over track and trip last time this looks a much easier task for Simon Dow’s charge. Fine 'n Dandy won at Southwell earlier in the year but still looks high enough in the weights while Red Flute was placed yet again off his current mark having won here in January. But Stormflower has slipped back down the handicap having won at Windsor last year and she could be thereabouts at the finish.
