In depth

Verdict

Ballintara won on fast going at Fontwell in the summer and today’s ground may not be as suitable. Hoot At Midnight was a more recent winner at Fontwell and is only 4lb higher but Gary Moore had a strong contender in the opener and his MOVETHECHAINS (NAP) will be popular in this. A very easy winner twice over course and distance already this season, he still looks to be a step ahead of the handicapper. Lilith was second over 2m4f here nine days ago and still has scope with Bretney likely to improve on his third at Stratford. Robins Field has switched to the Skelton yard but showed nothing over hurdles.
