In depth

Verdict

Continental Divide will have benefited from his run at Kempton in January but Ihtikar should prove best of those with experience after a promising start at Wolverhampton in October. There are some nicely-bred newcomers, however, with NAUTILUS possibly the most interesting of them as he's the sixth foal of a mare who has already produced four winners, including Group 3 winner Tarfah who is the dam of Camelot. Warrigal is from a very good family and a half-brother to a winner in Germany while the filly Single Mast is out of a winning USA miler. Maughami is definitely one to keep an eye on as she's a half-sister to six winners including two at Group level in Italy.
