    Verdict

After a couple of modest efforts on Polytrack, New Latin got off the mark on the Fibresand at Southwell and may prefer that surface, while Exchange had to drop down to the minimum trip at Beverley to open his account. RUDEGIRL won her maiden over 6f at York in October, but she gets today's extra furlong well enough and arrives here with the highest official rating. She looks capable of landing this on her reappearance. Fifth In Line has place claims but it's hard to make a case for any of the remainder on today's terms.
