In depth

Verdict

Aragon Knight was only caught close home over the track and trip in August after leading from the start and should make a bold bid to hang on this time. Entertaining Ben is another front-runner who almost made all here in November so should have a say while Teajan made a bright start at Kempton before running a shocker at Bath which wasn't his form. VERNE CASTLE (NAP) made a promising debut at Kempton and was well supported next time at Nottingham but didn't run as well as expected. He has a very speedy pedigree and the scope to do better so gets the nod. Westbourne Grove showed good pace over 6f at Wolverhampton in October and is the type to do better in his second campaign.
