Verdict

Not an easy race to work out with Safa Park and Hasaiyda looking good among the unraced entries and Resplendent King probably the best of those to have raced. Therefore, keep a close eye on the betting but, without the benefit of that, we will side with Safa Park. Looking at the field. Fuel Cell showed promise on his debut at Newbury in a race that has worked out very well, but he did not build on that in his only run since. Michabo looked very green and was well beaten on his debut last July. Resplendent King has average form overall despite a couple of decent efforts so it will be disappointing if the Saeed bin Suroor-trained Safa Park, who is related to a number of decent winners, and Sir Michael Stoute's Hasaiyda, a Hector Protector half-brother to the hurdle winner and middle-distance Flat winner Hasanpour, are not good enough to play a leading part in this race. Shuheb is also bred to win races, and despite the fact that he will stay further the market - in keeping with each of the unraced runners - will provide some big clues as to the strength of his chance. The others look to be up against it which means that we reckon Safa Park might just provide the answer to this contest.
