      Verdict

      TIE EM UP TEL beat Roses In June easily enough at Windsor earlier and was expected to do better in a claimer at Catterick last time. But he was hampered in the closing stages on that occasion and finished behind third-placed Placebo Effect. The latter subsequently beat today’s rival Atalanta Queen at Ripon so David Evans’ charge gets another chance in this. The remaining pair have little to recommend them as Sausage Fingers disappointed last time and Cranworth Phoenix has a tough task on these terms.
