MOUNT HADLEY is our recommendation in the last though Elisario and Ocean Legend are on our shortlist. Gerald Butler's horses are in much better form than what they once where and his representative ran a highly creditable race in defeat at Ascot. There could be more to come. Elisario is on for a hat-trick bid this afternoon. A dual scorer at Southwell, it will be interesting to see if he can handle the transition to the polytrack. Ocean Legend has no such issues with regard to that and as a course-and-distance specialist; he has the form very much on the board. Last Three Minutes has to reverse Ascot form with our selection. He cannot afford to start so tardily in this contest. Pha Mai Blue took full advantage of the handicappers generosity to win over course and distance. Part of that improvement can be attributed to the headgear that has accompanied his recent starts. Salient has struggled for form though is dropping down the weights. Halsion Chancer has gone close in two recent starts and off today's mark he appears fated to find at least one too good. Fiefdom acts over this trip though may be better over a genuine seven furlongs. Mount Hadley is afforded as our nomination.
