Verdict

A competitive Claimer gets proceedings underway, and the principles look to be Whippasnapper, Juwwi and Type One, and we will side with the last mentioned. The selection was well beaten last time, but that was in a Class D Handicap and he will find the drop back to Claiming grade far more suitable. His best form has been over 6 furlongs but he should go well from a favourable draw and looks the one to beat. Whippasnapper won well last time out when defeating Ladies Knight but this looks more competitive and he is opposable under his penalty. Juwwi is another that could go well despite top weight, but he has failed to sparkle of late and he is another that is better over further. This will not take much winning, but we will make Type One our tentative choice.
