In an interesting claimer, Champagne Shadow is selected ahead of Noora and Turner's Touch. Turner's Touch (rated 70), Musango (68), Champagne Shadow (72), Noora (75) and Stagehand (73) are the highest rated of the runners and could prove to be the key players. Turner's Touch loves it here and looks set to go well. Musango was beaten five-and-a-half lengths by Champagne Shadow over 10 furlongs here on July 28th and is now a pound worse off at the weights over this longer trip. The latter has won four of his last five races, has won over course and distance and ought to be involved in the shake-up today. Noora has not been running too badly in handicap company and, at this level. has to be granted a great deal of respect, while Stagehand has been placed five times in eleven career starts and, dropping to this company for the first time, also has to be respected. For the selection, though, we will stick with Champagne Shadow.
