Verdict

Chookie Avon has been in fine form in handicaps and went very close again when runner-up at Wolverhampton last time. However, CORPORAL MADDOX gets another chance despite coming up short in similar company on the Fibresand last time. He scored on fast ground at Ascot back in July and makes more appeal than Majuro who should have done better in a claimer at Wolverhampton last Saturday. Brocklebank landed a plating contest at this track on his latest start and Ongoodform has a shout dropped in class.
