In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights, but the principals look to be Moayed, Red Spell and Bonus and the tentative vote is given to Moayed. The selection won well last time when beating Secret Night and, although he has a penalty for that win, this does not look much tougher and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Red Spell rates the main danger on his best form but he gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when well beaten last time; however, he has been freshened up by a break and it would be no surprise if he were to return to form. Bonus has showed improved form of late but has yet to win over this specialist trip and for that reason he is opposed. Katiypour is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with. Of the remainder, Lake Andre has dropped to a handy mark and could run well at a price with his yard in form over his best trip but, for the winner, we return to Moayed.
