Redeye Special can defy topweight at the expense of Fantasy Crusader, Humility, Naval Attache and Contented. Redeye Special has in the main been in good form this season, scoring on her return over seven furlongs here in April, and performing with credit at Kempton and more recently on Turf at Yarmouth. Jamie Spencer seems to get on well with the filly, and with quite a few of her opponents out of form, she should be a leading player back on the Polytrack. Fantasy Crusader has won four times here in the past, but the drop back in trip is a bit of a worry. Nevertheless he has the overall form to be involved in the finish. Humility is consistent but has taken a rise in the handicap which will hinder her chances today, but Naval Attache was a creditable third in a class 5 contest last time and is respected in receipt of weight all round. Contented is an in-and-out performer who could make the frame, but preference is for Redeye Special.
