More luck than judgement needed here and MR MAXIMAS gets a token vote. He won at Wolverhampton in March and travelled well for a long way over C&D last time. This looks less competitive despite racing in the same grade. Fastinthestraight scored twice at Kempton earlier this year and a visor replaces the cheekpieces after a better effort last time, while Laconicos could figure racing off a lower mark back on the all-weather. Kenswick won off a higher mark over 7f only last month but is untried over this longer trip.
