Not a horse to take too short a price about but Remembrance looks good thing here, with Landescent and Tinian the two likely to fight for the place money. James Eustace's gelding was disappointing at Southwell last time when pulling too hard early on, but prior to that took on much better opposition than this. His best effort was here back in Novemeber when a gallant third behind Sentry, the second and fourth have both been successful since so the form is absolutely rock solid. Landescent has the ability to go close here having run well in some competive handicaps in recent weeks. The only other serious danger to the selection appears to be Tinian, a former inmate of Ian Balding, who has been running well in Germany and could be spot on for this after a couple of outings back in this country. The rest look a pretty poor bunch so it is with some degree of confidence that Remembrance is given the vote
