        Verdict

        Although he has never won here, Million Percent has run some good races over course and distance in defeat, and we take him to score, from General Feeling, Hadath and Louphole. All the selection's wins have come on fast ground turf over six furlongs, but he has been far from disgraced on the polytrack at both Wolverhampton and here. His last start over course and distance was in July and if he reproduced that effort this time he would have a decent chance, and we will take a chance on him. General Feeling has to shoulder topweight and is 9lb higher than when winning over c&d last month. The weight had him anchored at Southwell last time, but back on this faster ground we expect a better effort. Hadath will be popular after his neck win over 7f here last week, but this looks tougher, while Louphole will be better for the return to 6f here at Lingfield, though the minimum trip still looks to be his best, and we are happy to stick with Million Percent to score.
