    Verdict

JOEGOGO had little chance at the weights in a conditions race last time but had rattled-up a hat-trick of handicap wins on the all-weather before that. David Evans’ charge is taken to resume winning ways at the main expense of City Gent. The latter was placed in a handicap at Kempton on his penultimate start and looks better treated than Mossketeer, now 12lb higher than an earlier success at Chelmsford. Montague and Zabaletaswansong don’t look particularly well-in either with the former’s wins coming in a claimer and a novices’ event.
