Verdict

Patuano appeared to have something in hand when winning cosily at the Curragh but, even so, may struggle to follow up off his new mark while Sirjack Thomas is probably best watched making his seasonal debut for a new yard. Three-year-old Maymine ran with credit in difficult conditions last time and should appreciate this better going and Aspen Bell deserves another chance to follow up her Cork win over this more suitable trip but ENTER THE RED looks a lively contender. The admirably-consistent nine-year-old goes well fresh, has conditions in his favour and is on a handy mark. Captain Power can make the frame on return to 6f.
