Polished Steel got first run on Sil Ver Klass in a big field at Punchestown and connections of the runner-up will fancy their chances of turning the form around on 4lb better terms. Play The Game had a run on the all-weather last month for John McConnell while Kuiper Belt has to go on the short-list having finished ahead of Polished Steel at Fairyhouse, though is probably better over a bit further. INGLEBY MACKENZIE’s form on the Flat this year has left something to be desired but he’ll be a lot happier back over hurdles having won four times last summer.
