In depth

Verdict

MONTYS MEADOW is a cracking chaser on his day as he showed when just failing to concede lumps of weight to Westerner Point in a better race than this at Limerick in December. He didn't run well in his two later starts but hopefully he'll be ready after a long break and can concede weight all round. Dual bumper winner and hurdles winner Aspen Colorado has yet to figure in four starts over fences and will need to do much better while Killiney Court has failed to complete in three of his last four starts over the bigger obstacles, though in much better company than this. The latter's stable companion Show And Go is just 2lb higher than when scoring at Punchestown on New Year's Eve.
