In depth

Verdict

Jesse Evans was always in the front rank and being rousted along at Ballinrobe and stayed on well at the finish. He's certain to improve but faces a stiff task against LIGHT BRIGADE, who never got close enough to the front two at Thurles in March but finished with a real flourish. The lack of a recent run is never a problem for one from this yard. Jamie Codd's presence on Dark Spark suggests the son of Presenting out of the outstanding hurdler Voler La Vedette is more forward than Chemical Energy at this stage.
