Verdict

Fool's Wildcat finished four lengths ahead of Baccalaureate when runner-up at Perth last month but has never won on ground this fast and the latter is fancied to turn the tables here on 8lb better terms. Jim Tango is well worth a second look having won a novice event at Bangor in August but the pick of the weights may be AGENTE ROMANO. Evan Williams' gelding hasn't won since March last year but has generally competed in better company than this and a first-time visor could wake his ideas up. The lightly-raced Lion Road also sports headgear for the first time and looks the pick of the remainder.
