Verdict

Double Court has won just once in 18 starts over hurdles and went up 14lb though in the context of this poor contest it would be no surprise to see him score again. PRESENTING BERKELEY had shown nothing before making his handicap debut here last month where he very nearly pulled off a shock victory. He's up 4lb but a repeat performance would see him difficult to beat. Artiste Du Gouet showed a bit more promise at Wincanton though that was over the minimum trip Carqalin has the potential to do better though it's asking a lot for a four-year-old to carry such a big weight.
