      Verdict

Fast Mix should prove hard to beat in this company, with Dhaudeloup and Petanque his biggest rivals. Martin Pipe's charge left the money in the bookies' satchels at Bangor in May on his last start, making a mess of the last flight when a close third. The son of Linamix was still only beaten less than a length, and as the stable have no problems getting get them ready after a break, he should make amends. Dhaudeloup also ran well when a close second to Spree Vision in claiming company at Perth in September, and can give the selection most to do, although at the age of nine he does not have as much scope. Petanque tired rapidly when asked to win his race when sent off favourite at Fontwell last time, and should appreciate the drop back in trip here. He looks best of the rest, but with Jamie Moore claiming three pounds, Fast Mix is the one to be on.
