Verdict

Musical Slave can be forgiven his run over the cross-country fences at Cheltenham and is back on a winning mark. He is one of five previous course winners in this. Catterick runner-up Quoi De Neuf and Jimmy The Digger are others but Tide Times finished behind both Latitude and Jet Plane here in the spring and is 5lb wrong in the weights. BOBHOPEORNOHOPE only won this by a neck 12 months ago but is back on the same mark. He clearly needed the run at Warwick six weeks ago when he may also have found the trip too far. The progressive Gaboriot looks a big danger on recent wins at Kempton and Doncaster.
