Verdict

Only four runners go to post for this beginners' chase, but it looks to lie between UNFORGETTABLE, Markila and Leamington Lad with the vote going to the first mentioned. Tim Vaughan's 6-year-old was only narrowly beaten last time at Towcester when he chased home Folk Tune. The front pair came well clear of the rest of the field that day and as he remains unexposed over fences he looks one to stick with. Markila looks the main danger as she has twice got her head in front and she shapes as though the switch to chasing will suit. She does tend to go well here and the yard are in good form at present so she is a definite contender. Leamington Lad finished well behind our selection last time and it is hard to see him turning the tables today. It is hard to make a case for Secret Cavern who will have to make giant strides to trouble the judge based on what he has shown so far. He is also thoroughly exposed, and we will stick with Unforgettable who gets the confident vote.
