    Verdict

NO WONGA is fancied to bring home the bacon, possibly at the main expense of Tesserae and Mutual Respect. The selection was well backed to win a similar contest at Uttoxeter on Saturday but was no match for the useful Calzaghe in the testing conditions and was out for the count with two to jump. To his credit he kept on well for second and, with this track likely to play to his strengths, he should be able to go one better. Tesserae scored over course and distance on debut before being stepped up in class at Plumpton where she was readily outpointed behind an above average winner. She should go well back down in grade. Mutual Respect has plenty to prove but has claims on the pick of his old form as does Bold Policy for whom market support would be of interest. Super Fly, Putney Bridge and Brandy Butter are others with claims but questions to answer and it might not pay to look beyond No Wonga.
