Captain Kissinger was a 50/1 chance when making a successful hurdling debut on very fast ground here but has since been well beaten at Wetherby and on the Flat. Zizaneur has joined Philip Hobbs from France where he won once in seven starts in minor company while Zanzi Win is another French import having won twice on the Flat before a reasonable hurdling debut for new connections at Taunton. Lucky's Dream arrives in top form having won twice at Chelmsford over the winter while Petit Palais won a Wolverhampton maiden for John Gosden in September. Purple Jazz scored on fast going at Lingfield in July but it's SCARAMANGA who looks a more likely winner. Placed twice for James Fanshawe, he's related to three middle-distance winners on the level and looks just the type his trainer does so well with.
