SNAKE RAVE rarely runs a bad race and can land himself back in the winner's enclosure at the expense of Marked Man and Morenito. The selection was formally trained by Howard Johnson who failed to win with him, but he then went onto win multiple races in the point to point field before running an eye catching race at Southwell on his return to National Hunt rules racing. He has been put up five pounds in the weights as a result but is sure to go close once again. Marked Man has been a good servant to trainer Richard Lee winning nine times for the yard. The latest of those came at Hereford last time out, but a rise of nine pounds for this veteran will make life tough for him from now on. Morenito is eight pounds worse off for winning a poor race at Southwell last time out. This race looks a lot tougher and a personal best effort will be required. Snake Rave has been kept unexposed for the past couple of seasons and could be a well treated horse so is worth staying on the right side of.
