        Verdict

        There are surely races to be won over hurdles with Scrafton given he was placed in three of his four starts over hurdles last season. But he's had a break since disappointing on the Flat in the spring and is up against an in-form rival in OWEN NA VIEW (NAP). He made most switched back to the smaller obstacles at Hexham in June and can shrug off a penalty. Brigadoon was just denied over course and distance last month and any improvement on that would put him bang in the picture.
