Verdict

Kensington Oval and Peppertree Lane, both formerly quite useful if slightly quirky on the Flat, haven't really sparkled over timber, giving the impression that they save a little. However, both have acceptable chances at their best but the lightly-raced and unexposed MILANO SUPREMO is taken make a successful transition to handicap company. He'll need to improve on a workmanlike success in a modest Wetherby novice hurdle but may well do so with just three runs under his belt over timber. Locally-trained Galley Slave finds himself on a career-high perch after striking a rich vein of form but should still play a part, while Frameit and hat-trick seeker Pollen Jock are also worth a second look in a competitive heat.
