Salhood and September Moon need plenty of respect despite their big weights, however it is Wee William who gets the nod in this tight handicap. Nothing really stands out but Tim Walford¿s gelding comes here on the back of a good third at Southwell. That was his first start since last August and with the return to this trip in his favour, a big run looks on the cards. Sycho Fred is very consistent but the handicapper has had his say, so of more interest may be Earcomesannie who whilst not looking amazingly handicapped, has been dropped a couple of pounds for his last run. Salhood is a course winner and has carried a big weight to victory in the past but his wins have come at shorter distances. September Moon likes fast ground so would not want any rain, but he stays well and his trainer is rising up the ranks. At a price Keltic Lord and Kimoe Warrior should not be discounted, however it is Wee William who can oblige.
