Verdict

LAHARNA may have most to fear from Imminent Victory and Glimmer Of Light. Russian Invader is a winner over hurdles and was still in touch when falling on his chase bow but he has enough to prove as a consequence as does Crystal Prince who hasn't shone over hurdles and needs to improve dramatically for the switch to chasing. Peak Seasons has won a race but may find this company too demanding as may Uptown Lad. Glimmer Of Light is better than he showed last time but went up a fair bit in the weights for winning at Wetherby and doesn't always find as much as he promises. Imminent Victory won half of his chase starts in Germany and has been in good form over hurdles of late so he merits serious consideration but preference is for the proven form of Laharna. He only appears to do just enough but that trait helps to keep him ahead of the handicapper and he's been in fine form of late. He's no star but this is his grade and Laharna can add another notch to his tally stick.
