Verdict

A Market Rasen beginners' chase probably wasn't envisaged for Schism after she was sold for 100,000gns as a yearling and she's been generally disappointing, though did win on the Flat and a couple of modest contests over hurdles and gets all the allowances here. But we still prefer LION ON THE PROWL, who has shaped with promise in two starts over fences at Worcester and is taking on less-demanding opposition here. Fennis Boy is starting to run out of chances over the larger obstacles and prolific pointer Cool Star could be more interesting today.
