Verdict

Flying Eagle is hard to accurately assess as he's not been seen under Rules for 648 days but has recently been mopping up point-to-point contests. He is obviously in good nick but this represents a different challenge and MAXED OUT KING (NAP) is preferred. Sue Smithy's gelding has looked at his best when running from the front and still has room to progress further after just five starts over larger obstacles. Hopefully, he'll set out to make all around this sharp track which frequently serves prominent racers well. Brave Spartacus continues to run with credit and arrives in decent form for his useful amateur rider whilst Shady Glen usually finds one too good. Both Foundation Man and The Doorman are capable but need to put recent modest runs behind them.
