Give Me Love is selected in the finale - Tagar and Kayceecee are expected to pose strong challenges, while Alam is no out of this despite being burdened with top weight. The last named hasn't won for two years, though. Which is disconcerting and he appears to be in the grip of the assessor. Kayceecee has been running to his mark of late and is also struggling from his current mark. Still, he is consistent enough to merit consideration and he can be expected to be involved in the thick of the action. As can Tagar, who is in with a shout if he recaptures any of his old sparkle. Again winning is not a natural process with him and he would hardly be the best betting proposition of the day. Therefore, Give Me Love gets the nomination on this occasion. The gelding has shown a good deal of resilience in his last two starts and, having won off a rating of 119, he looks to be very well treated for this off just 103.
